Based in Fort Mill, CW Transportation (CWT) is a rapidly growing non-emergency medical transportation company proudly serving the local and long-distance transportation needs throughout both South and North Carolina.
CWT was founded by a hardworking and experienced entrepreneur, Chad Whisonant. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Chad, is a longtime resident of South Carolina graduating from Rock Hill High School in 1992.
Chad's experience in the transportation and logistics industry runs deep as he has served as owner and General Manager of multiple transportation companies. Upon graduation, Chad joined his father in managing "All American Cab Company." Years later, Chad launched his own executive transportation service, "Skyline Car Service," which he sold in 2015.
Through decades of experience managing interstate logistics throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and beyond, coupled with his community involvement and contributions, Chad witnessed firsthand the growing need for more reliable and cost effective transportation for area seniors. Inspired and motivated to create a more effective and reliable solution, Chad launched CW Transportation in 2017 with a simple mission and motto, "Serving Our Seniors."
CWT has since completed thousands of assisted ambulatory and wheelchair transports with stretcher-accessibility coming soon. Unlike other services operating as a curb-to-curb service, CWT will safely escort you or your loved one from your residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and ADA compliant vehicle. On arrival at your destination, CWT’s trained staff will escort you to check-in.

We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.
We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.
Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
